Nestling in peaceful, picturesque countryside on the border of Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire, this 19th century traditional welsh farmhouse not only offers cosy, comfortable and relaxing Bed and Breakfast accommodation
but is also the perfect venue for a wedding reception.
Where contemporary meets olde worlde, here you can also enjoy 
 the added luxury of 5 star cuisine.
 
Situated just outside Llanfallteg in an elevated aspect overlooking the valley in which the award winning village is located, Bwlchmelyn lies in an
unspoilt rural area surrounded by beautiful rolling hills
and stunning colourful landscape.
 
 
Walks from our door allow you to do a circular walk or follow the bridle
path down to the village. The path 
winds down the hill, past the
local pub and continues along
the River Taf.
 
 
Our rooms are all well appointed, luxuriously furnished and scrupulously clean. They each offer either a King or Superking size bed with the
comfort of Egyptian cotton bedding, soft fluffy towels
and bath robes which are provided for your use.
 
Each room also has a television with Freeview,
hairdryer, beverage tray, bottled water
and home made cookies! 
 
 
 We also have an intimate Superior Suite, which is perfect for a honeymoon or simply a romantic
break in Wales.
The bedroom is decked with colour washed wood in a relaxing 'Beach Hut' style, has a Superking size traditional wooden bed with elegant
soft furnishings and

French doors lead onto
a private balcony
with traditional
wooden furniture and affords stunning views over the
beautiful grounds.
 
 
 
 
 
 This suite has TV with Freeview and DVD player, en suite shower room and dressing room and offers the opportunity to enjoy optional private dining with a personal service.

outside in the gazebo
overlooking our pond or in the summerhouse. We are happy to provide you with your choice of daily papers.
 
 
 
 
In the wintertime, you can also enjoy the comfort of relaxing in the lounge in front of the log burner.Afternoon teas are available with a choice of home made cakes including traditional Bara Brith, Welsh Cakes and Scones with Jam & Cream. Or why not try our warm scones made with welsh cheddar with leeks and served with welsh 'brie' and homemade, organic onion marmalade.
 
We also have an outdoor Spa, a small gym and bicycles
all of which are available for your use. 
There is also plenty of secure parking. 
 
Bwlchmelyn is just twenty minutes from the coast and is also surrounded by an abundance of places of interest including local farms producing
everything from cheese to chocolate and
paintings to hand made crafts.
 
 
However you decide to spend your well earned summer or winter break, at the end of each day, a choice of home
cooked evening meals are always 
available for you to enjoy.
